Overview

The category of Women’s Health includes medical conditions prevalent in both sexes, such as heart disease or depression where the clinical manifestations or treatment response may vary between the sexes, and those specific to women, such as vaginal diseases and cancers of the breast and reproductive organs.  Within this latter category, estrogens, the female hormones, are involved in a great many conditions that effect women over their life times.
